After her studies in dramatics and direction in Frankfurt/M (Prof. Hans-Thies Lehmann), Paris and Seattle Célestine Hennermann worked as dramaturge and curator at Ballet Frankfurt and at TAT in Bockenheimer Depot. As freelancer she is still working for Motion Bank, a project of the Forsythe Company, there she is a dramaturgic adviser and curates their workshop series.
Today she is a freelance dramaturge and choreographer and realized a.o. productions with the hip hop Group E-Motion and Helena Waldmann. Next to child plays she worked in the dance and performance section with the collective 2+. With 2+ studio album her third production premiered in 2011. Célestine Hennermann works closely together with Tanzhaus NRW in Düsseldorf and the artist residency Mousonturm Frankfurt. Her works are represented by i-das nrw.
