After her master's degree in Jena and her internship in the culture departement of the Goethe Institut in Riga/Lettland, Judith Hellmann moved to Dresden in 2009. During her ten month internship at Societaetstheater Dresden she primarily took on the tasks of press and public relations and with that also got profound knowledge of the procedures in production and organisation. Since 2010 she is working as a freelancer in culture management and organisation in the Saxon capital. Before that she was part of the planning, coordination and execution of the SchulkinoWochen Sachsen for two years. Furthermore Judith was working for the festival office in HELLERAU - European Center for the Arts Dresden during the Tanzplattform Deutschland 2012. As a result she was working as project coordinator for the program Second Cities – Performing Cities, supported by the EU, till 2014 and is momentarily responsible for the coordination of the artist residencies in the company.
Amongst others she also works in the production and organisation of the Scheune- Schaubudensommer since 2012 or in management and production for the Cie. Freaks und Fremde since 2013. For that reason the free art scene in Dresden has a special importance to her.

She is responsible for the finance management of the guts company since 2015.
