Matthias Wagner was born in 1983 in Dresden.
From a young age he played as a singer and drummer in public. First stage experiences were in 2008 at the Dresden State Theatre in the productions Der eingebildete Kranke and Steppenwolf. During his drama school in Berlin he was a member of the theater group Theater.Macht.Staat. Subsequently, a solid commitment from 2011 to 2014 leads him to the Landestheater Schwaben. There he played the lead role in Dirk Lauckes zu jung zu alt zu deutsch, in Alfred Jarry's König Ubu and the Reineke Fuchs from Goethe's fable of the same title. From 2014 to 2016 Matthias was hired at the Theater Plauen/Zwickau. There he played Mortimer in the play Maria Stuart, the Claude in the musical Hair and the SS officer Prall in the play Jeder stirbt für sich allein. He collected experience with the medium film in front of and behind the camera - for example, advertising for DaWanda and Infineon.
