Michele Meloni was born in Sardinia (Italy) 1977. Received his education in Milan at the M.A.&Show Dance Academy under the direction of Susanna Beltrami. After the education he worked with different companies and choreographers all around Italy, among: AnimaLibera Dance Company, Susanna Beltrami, Ersilia Danza, Michal Mualem and Giannalberto de Filippis (Sasha Waltz Company). In 2008 he moved to Berlin and started to work with the Thikwá Theater, Canan Erek and Modjgan Hashemian.
From 2009 to 2011 he became a member of Staatstheater Kassel with Johannes Wieland. While this period he had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Jozef Frucek, Evangelia Kapetanea (RootlessRoot Dance Company) and Yossi Berg, Oded Graf from Israel.
Nowadays he works as freelancer with Anna Konjetzky, Deutsche Oper Berlin and currently he's involved as Choreographer/Dancer in a collective production with Stephanie Thiersch, Mouvoir Dance Company, named MITUMBA.
