Where are we going to when we are going? Simply going, walking without goal or orientation, ready to never go back. Wherever we go wants to approach the walking in dance. Often used as connecting steps between choreographed dance movements, or as entrances and exits in a special way, the walking on stage, but also the walking through cities or nature often does not get much attention or is ascribed importance. We forget the immense potential of walking. But what exactly is it, this walking? Announcement? Statement? Rejection? Is the act of walking without reason, of strolling around even political? Anti-capitalistic? Are we still walking anyway, or are we already running?

The research was performed within the LINIE 08 - THE format for the freelance dance scene in Dresden. The work shall give a small impression of what we are expecting in our next projects.
