Kati Thiel is a project manager and production manager. She studied theater studies with a focus on dance studies at the University of Leipzig and organized the competition The Best German Dance Solo. She then became head of organization for euro-scene Leipzig. As head of venue coordination for the Theater der Welt festival, her path led her to Halle an der Saale. She then became project manager of the German-Palestinian cooperation project MEINLANDBILADI between Schauspiel Leipzig and The Freedom Theatre Jenin, West Bank. In Berlin, she was production manager for the Tanz im August festival.

Since January 2021 she is the Company Manager for the guts company.
