Josefine Wosahlo |
Company Management, Financial Management until 2020 |
Josefine Wosahlo studied dance and dance education in Dresden and Rotterdam and is a certified GYROKINESIS® trainer.
Based in Dresden, she initially worked as a freelance dancer and occasionally as a teacher. After several production and directing assistantships in dance and musical theater, she also began working as a production and project manager with independent artists/groups, accompanying dance and theater productions as well as managing larger-scale projects and formats.
In 2013, her close collaboration with choreographer Johanna Roggan led to the founding of the dance company the guts company in Dresden. In 2016, together with colleagues from the independent scene, she founded the Villa Wigman für TANZ association, which is committed to preserving the former home of dancer Mary Wigman in Dresden and using it as a space for the performing arts. In 2019, she took over the management of the Villa Wigman and at the same time headed the TANZPAKT Dresden project at HELLERAU - European Center for the Arts, a cooperation project between the two institutions.
After her parental leave, Josefine Wosahlo returned to HELLERAU in 2021 as project coordinator for the artist-in-residence program TakeHeart. In 2023, she will once again become the management of villa\wigman.
