Collaboration

Luise Scholz was born in Dresden in 2003 and lives with Down syndrome. Since 2013, she has been dancing with Cuban dance teacher Bella Salsa, with whom she completed an internship as a dance teacher in 2019. She has been a member of the ColumbaPalumbus e.V. hip hop group since 2019.

In 2019, she took part in a music video for World Down Syndrome Day. Since 2022, Luise has been dancing at Farbwerk e.V. in the field of contemporary dance and is a member of the ExpertIN-Lab, where workshop formats are led by an inclusive team. In 2022, she performed in the "Fusionen" and "Fusionen#2" projects at Tanzwoche Dresden under the direction of René Rothe. She took part in the "Fusionen#3" project at the inclusive 2023 dance festival.

As an artist at Farbwerk e.V., she will participate in the theater project "Liebesverbote" of the Bürger:Bühne of the Staatsschauspiel Dresden from October 2023.

Luise is currently also working on her training in contemporary dance with the dancer and choreographer Michaela Mehl.
