Kristin Mente, born in 1987, is a freelance dancer and choreographer and has been an active member of TanzNetzDresden since 2016. She began studying at the Palucca University of Dance in 1997 and graduated with a diploma in stage dance in 2007. She received the Palucca Scholarship for outstanding achievements.


In 2007, she received an engagement at the Tanztheater Bielefeld (main choreographer/management: Gregor Zöllig). During her time in Bielefeld, she also worked with several guest choreographers, such as Guilherme Bothelo and Simone Sandroni. 
Kristin Mente choreographed the duet "Mehr als man glaubt" for Tanzspotting IV. In 2012, she left Theater Bielefeld to work as a freelance dancer and choreographer. She returned to Dresden in summer 2015, where she lives and works again.

In recent years, she has danced in projects by Soul City Company, Ensemble La Vie, missing dots, John Moran/everyon company and Andreas Heise.
 She is also a guest dancer in several operas at the Semperoper Dresden.

As part of Tanzwoche Dresden and Linie08, she has choreographed several short pieces, including "Gedankenkarussell" and "neu ordnen".

Her first full-length dance theater piece "Ghost Girls" premiered in July 2021 at the Festspielhaus Hellerau.
