Petra Eichler and Susanne Kessler have been working together under the name "Sounds of Silence" since 2005.

"Sounds of Silence" is also the title of their first joint project, a series of artistic installations about the experience of silence, which laid the foundation for their collaboration. Since then, they have been conceptualizing and designing scenes, spaces and objects on a wide variety of scales. The starting point can be anything, a word or a person, a feeling and often a commission. The following always applies: openness to discussion, the courage to experiment and a love of detail.
