Marie Zechiel was born and raised in Germany. She graduated in contemporary dance from the "Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance in London" and dances professionally on various stages in Europe and abroad. She has danced for Clébio Oliveira, XWEISS, Kiani del Valle and Candela Capitan, among others.

Marie is a physical storyteller whose main form of expression is movement, which translates seamlessly into stage, film, photography and performance work. Her choreographic craft is formulated through authentic movement, character development and the interplay of curated bodies and formations.
